Honor Fell

Dr Dame Honor Bridget Fell, DBE, Ph.D, D.Sc, FRS (22 May 1900 – 22 April 1986) was a British scientist and zoologist. Her contributions to science included the development of the 'organ culture method, similar to stem cell research.
==Career==
She was educated at Wychwood School, North Oxford and Madras College before earning a Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Edinburgh in 1922. Most of her long career was spent at the Strangeways Research Laboratory, Cambridge, where she was Director from 1927 to 1970.〔(Obituary ) in ''Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases'' (1987), vol. 46, p. 264〕 While working at Cambridge she earned her Ph.D in 1924. In 1932 she earned her Doctor of Science from the University of Cambridge.
